Accessibility

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 level AA conformance across the app. This statement is updated as we close gaps.

What works today

• Keyboard navigation across all core flows (onboarding, wizard, review, package).
• Form inputs carry explicit label / htmlFor associations.
• Interactive icon buttons carry aria-label where the visual is symbolic.
• State changes (saving, errors) are announced via role="alert" where critical.
• Color is never the sole indicator of state — tone-setting badges are paired with text and icons.
• Full Japanese (日本語) and Chinese (简体中文 / 繁體中文) UI translations are available via the language switcher in the header.

Known gaps

• Korean (한국어) UI is queued.
• PDF bundle output is not screen-reader tagged (all PDFs are images of NTA forms).
• Color-contrast audit is in progress; a handful of secondary labels fall below 4.5:1 and are queued.
