1. What this service is
TaxNinja JP is a self-service document-preparation tool. It compiles your inputs into a PDF bundle matching the forms the National Tax Agency accepts, but it is not a tax-advisory service. Any calculated amounts are simulations based on your inputs, and your filing remains your responsibility. XML exports or manual handoff archives are for backup, review, or partner handoff only unless we explicitly state that certified direct submission has been enabled.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Sign-up creates a non-privileged user account; only users with an admin role assigned separately can access the admin dashboard.
3. Acceptable use
No reverse engineering, scraping, abusive automation, uploading other people’s personal information without authority, or using our outputs to submit fraudulent data.
4. Fees
v1.0 is free during beta. If we introduce fees, we will give at least 30 days notice.
5. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Japanese law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for penalties, interest, or additional tax arising from inaccurate inputs, misuse, or user judgment. Where liability applies, it is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months (currently ¥0).
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Japanese law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the Tokyo District Court.
