Terms of Service

1. What this service is

TaxNinja JP is a self-service document-preparation tool. It compiles your inputs into a PDF bundle that matches the forms the National Tax Agency (NTA) accepts. It is not a tax-advisory service.

We do not provide tax advice within the meaning of 税理士法§2 (the Certified Public Tax Accountants Act). Any calculated amounts are simulations based on the information you provide. Your filing is your responsibility.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Sign-up creates a non-privileged user account; only users with the admin role (assigned out-of-band) can access the admin dashboard.

3. Acceptable use

• No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated abuse.
• Do not upload other people's personal information without authority.
• Do not attempt to submit fraudulent data to the NTA through us or our outputs.

4. Fees

v1.0 is free during beta. If we introduce fees we will give at least 30 days' notice.

5. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by Japanese law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for tax penalties, interest, or additional tax arising from inaccurate inputs, misuse, or user judgment. Our aggregate liability, in the rare case it applies, is limited to the fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months (currently ¥0).

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Exclusive jurisdiction: Tokyo District Court.
